User created aquarium video lets you see what other fish enthusiasts are keeping and the way they decorate their tank. Watching how other people are keeping their fish can offer people insight into new techniques for their own fish tanks.
Gravity Defying Aquarium
To make it work the airstone must be on a closed system where the air pump collects the air from the top of the aquarium. In this way the vacuum stopping the water from falling out can be perpetuated.
Duck Feeding Goldfish?
At first glance it looks like a cute duckling feeding pond fish. Some people decided the duck was fattening the koi up for later. Some others thought it was just a duck eating dry food then drinking water inbetween mouthfulls.
Deep Fryer Aquarium
These goldfish are housed in a tank beneath a deep fryer. The surface of the water is in contact with the bottom of the hot oil. Batter sinks out of the oil and into the water where the goldfish are shown. Apparently it is more so a demonstration of the technology than a fish home concept.
Azolla Aquatic Fern
Azolla fern can be grown in many different climates but may die back during the winter. It requires little care but may need to be removed if it grows to dense. For ponds it can decrease the available light and kill off algae. In the aquarium it will shade any plants growing beneath it and block the light that helps view the fish.
Fugu Puffer Fish
Ever wondered what a Fugu puffer fish actually looks like? Here is your chance! You might remember this fish from the episode of the Simpsons were Homer visits a sushi restaurant and orders the most dangerous thing on the menu.
River Biotope Aquarium
