Foreground Aquarium Plants

Unobtrusive Aquarium Plants

Most foreground plants are planted close to the front of the aquarium where they can gain attention despite their slight height. Such plants often originate from moving water where their low profile makes them more resistant to currents.

Many foreground plants grow by spreading into a short green carpet when allowed enough space and time. Others are very fine allowing a good view of the midground and background.
