Aquarium Water Pumps
Electric aquarium pumps rely on magnetism to drive a small turbine that forces water through the outlet. Sometimes this mechanism will require cleaning to ensure proper functioning.
Other maintenance involves cleaning any gunk that has collected around the inlet. The motor will be encased completely and cannot be safely opened and resealed.
Submersible water pumps are generally quiet since the entire pump unit is completely submerged. Larger pumps situated outside the water are very loud in contrast making them less suitable for use in the home or garden.
