Aquarium PH Products
To move your water up and down the PH scale just choose the correct product and gradually add it to the water. Instead of tipping the powder in all at once, dissolve small amounts in water and add them over a few days.
The pH chemicals consist of fine white powders with the feel of fine salt. The ingredients pose no major threat to people but care should be taken if you are sensitive to acids and alkali substances. Just avoid breathing in any airborne dust during use and wash hands afterward. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for best results.
Starter packs are available and refills of the ingredients can be found wherever these are sold. You will soon find that you predominantly only need only one of the two pH adjustment chemicals available. The testing agent included is also available separately but should last for several hundred tests.
