Octagonal Aquariums
Octagonal aquariums are designed to be taller than they are wide. The overall form is based on an eight sided polygon with equal sides. This octagon shape is expressed as a prism with the lid finishing off the top surface.
The tall shape makes these octagonal aquariums ideal for use in the corner of a room but it is also well placed as a floating piece of furniture. In such instances the aquarium can be easily viewed from any direction with very little of the internal area hidden from site.
Hexagonal aquariums are similar but have only six sides and are generally smaller.
