Medicated Aquarium Products
If you need a cure for your aquarium fish there are a number of medications you can buy. Some medications are broad spectrum while others treat a specific disease.
Please read about fish medication precautions before use and also read the manufacturer's directions. The preparations available will range in toxicity from harmless to dangerous. If in doubt treat all medications as hazardous. Store them securely away from children rather than in unlocked aquarium cabinets.
Before treating a fish it may be beneficial to research any possible side effects and keep a watch for these signs. If you a suspect an over dose has occurred immediately replace half of the water and monitor the progress of the fish over the next few days.
