Lilaeopsis Plant

Lilaeopsis grass (Lilaeopsis brasiliensis) is a popular plant in aquariums and ponds because of it's grassy compact growth. They are propogated by runner producing new plants next to the mother plant.

Given good conditions Lilaeopsis Grass will gradually cover the bottom of an aquarium.

You may have seen this product compared and sold as microsword but they are very different plants.

Lilaeopsis requires bright light in an aquarium and shaded waters if grown in a pond. It makes an excellent foreground plant, rarely growing taller than 5cm high.
