Glossostigma Plant
Glossostigma is a fast growing low aquatic that can cover a large area of gravel quite rapidly. Being one of the smallest aquatic plants cultivated it is well suited to the foreground of the fishtank. It can transform the substrate into a sea of green only broken by any driftwood or rocks you have included. Glossostigma is delicate and should be left out of aquariums with turbulant water flow or rough fish.
For best growth high light levels are needed. Water should be fairly soft and carbon dioxide added. Symptoms of low light will be spindly upward growth instead of a lush dense carpet.
