Eriocaulon Setaceum Plant
Eriocaulon setaceum is indeed a magnificent aquarium plant. This Australian native is has needle shaped leaves lke hairgrass but they all grow from the same point. This gives it the appearance of a small grass tree.
Soft mildly acidic water should be used in aquariums containing eriocaulon setaceum. Carbon dioxide enrichment and bright lights are what this aquarium plant needs to grow.
Reproduction is acheived through the rooting of stem cuttings which should measure 10-15 cm for fast root development.
