Eichhornea Azurea Plant
Eichornea azurea is a stunning plant often used in Dutch style aquariums housing specialty plants. The leaves are long and positioned so as to grow sideways in only a left and right direction. This gives it the appearance quite distinct from other aquarium plants. This plant is suitable for use in the foreground because it allows full view through to the rest of the aquarium. Eichhornea can be positioned at other sites also.
For optimum growth of Eichornea azurea you should offer bright light and additional carbon dioxide. This is a root feeding plant that prospers in a rich substrate.
