Resun Magic Jet Filter
The Resun Magic Jet filter series are useful filters for a number of reasons. Magic Jet filters are available in 4 different sizes for filtering both large and small aquariums. (200, 380, 700, & 1000 liters per hour). They are virtually identical to the Unistar Jetstar filter and some other power filter brands.
1. Without the accessories this unit functions as a basic internal power filter. Inside there is a filter sponge and removable compartment that can hold aquarium charcoal. It ships with a charcoal sachet included.
2. With the sprayer bar attached the water returns as a spray onto the water surface. This breaks the water tension to vastly improve air diffusion into the water. The spray noise mimics the sound of rain making it a useful aid for spawning species such as corydoras.
4. Attach the venturi air intake. The tube clips above the water to add air to the water outlet. The water pressure draws air in aerate the aquarium. The black air intake nozzle on the end of the hose is adjustable to control the air flow. This attachment also makes it ideal for diffusing carbon dioxide into planted aquariums. Just hook your carbon dioxide line into the device and excellent saturation levels achieved.
There are 5 suction cups to attach the unit to the glass. The casing colour is black. The photograph shows the style of the 200 liter model. Larger models have a black spray bar.
Replacement charcoal cartridges and sponges are also available though the charcoal cartridge is refillable and the sponge washable for reuse.
